How to Use AI for Fundamental Analysis of U.S. Stocks
Use original company disclosures and AI assistance to study business models, financial statements, competitive advantages, and valuation scenarios. Develop a sourced thesis with explicit assumptions and conditions that would change your view.
This course is being developed progressively. The overview, learning path, and lesson outlines are available first; detailed explanations and demonstrations will be added as lessons are developed. Listed minutes are suggested study times, including reading and practice, not the runtime of published videos.
From Understanding a Business to Writing an Evidence-Based Thesis
Fundamental research connects a business, its finances, and its price. Using public disclosures from a real listed company, you will examine how it makes money, the quality of its earnings, the resources growth requires, and the assumptions implied by a price. AI helps organize and compare materials; you verify key evidence, understand model assumptions, and make your own judgments.
What You Will Complete
- A business model map covering customers, revenue, costs, and growth drivers
- Analysis tables for earnings, cash flow, the balance sheet, and per-share measures
- A valuation spreadsheet with comparable multiples, cash flow assumptions, and scenarios
- A company research report with sources, disconfirming conditions, and monitoring indicators
How to Study
Six chapters and eighteen lessons cover the research framework, business quality, financial statements, capital allocation, valuation, and a final report. Each lesson includes topics and a practical task. Follow one company throughout, then use a peer to test where the method needs adjustment. You do not need to complete the research-system course first.
Source Materials
Useful reading includes Investor.gov’s guide to reading a 10-K and 10-Q and the SEC financial statement guide. Use original company disclosures for exercise data and record periods, currencies, and units.
